This recipe from our friends at Mt. Elephant is perfect for those nights where all you want is a warm bowl of pasta, without feeling sluggish. Entirely plant based and naturally nutritious this is our new favourite go-to!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of Mt. Elephant Hemp Seeds
5-6 stalks of kale (leaves only)
2/3 cup of nutritional yeast
2/3 cup of Mt. Elephant Hemp Oil
2 lemons juiced
2 big handfuls of basil leaves
2 tbsp of water if needed
salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
In a food processor, blend all ingredients together.
If the result is too thick just add extra oil or water as required.
Serve with sautéed zucchini or sautéed kale and a serving of spelt pasta.
