RESORT 25

Movement has long been part of Eddie, founder of Bred Breathwork, approach to wellbeing, alongside breathwork. With the launch of Bred’s Movement pillar, she has created a space for these practices to coexist, offering simple, accessible ways to help the body respond to internal shifts, regulate the nervous system, and support balance in daily life.

New Season - Resort

What inspired you to expand Bred’s offering with a new movement pillar, and how does it complement the breathwork side of your practice?

As much as I am obsessed with breathwork, movement was always the missing piece! I’ve always seen them as the perfect combo, breathwork is that deep internal shift, and movement is how we anchor that shift into our physical bodies. Together, they’re the perfect recipe for nervous system regulation! The intention with Bred has always been about making transformation feel realistic, so keeping everything under 30 minutes was a non-negotiable for me. I wanted these practices to be accessible and reliable, something you can actually fit into a busy life without it feeling like another 'task.' At the end of the day, the combination of conscious breath and conscious movement is what truly changed my life, and I wanted to create a space where everyone else could experience that same flow and safety without needing hours to get there.

How do you see movement enhancing or transforming the experience of breathwork for your community, both online and offline?

I see movement as the ultimate 'primer' for breathwork. Sometimes, if you jump straight into a breath session while your body is physically tight or your mind is racing, it can take a while to actually drop in.

Offline, with my in person events it transforms the energy of the room completely. It takes people out of their heads and into their bodies, so by the time we get to the breath, the breakthroughs happen so much faster because the physical resistance is already gone.

Online, it gives our community a more complete toolkit. Some days you might not have the capacity for a deep 30 minute breath journey, but you can do a 10 minute 'Joy Frequency' dance or a 'Stress Melt' stretch. It makes the practice more three dimensional. Whether you're in your living room, the movement reinforces the breath, and the breath deepens the movement. It turns the whole experience into this beautiful, continuous loop of regulation.

Can you describe the types of movement practices included in the pillar and what outcomes you hope users will feel from them?

The movement practices in this pillar are really a love letter to the nervous system. Instead of the usual high intensity approach that leaves you feeling drained, we’ve brought together five very specific modalities, Liquid Gold Detox for lymphatic flow, The Burn & Bliss for that low impact Pilates burn, Qi Gong for energy, The Joy Frequency for a quick dance induced dopamine hit, and the Stress Melt Method for deep somatic stretching.

What I really hope people feel after moving with us is a sense of 'coming home' to themselves. It’s less about how many calories you burned and more about shifting your internal state. I want users to step off the mat feeling physically lighter and de puffed, but also mentally spacious. It’s that beautiful click when you move from being stuck in survival mode into a state of flow and safety. Ultimately, the goal is for everyone to finish a session feeling regulated, resilient, and deeply energised rather than depleted.

Was there a particular moment or experience that made you realise movement needed its own space on the Bred platform?

Honestly, it was a mix of listening to my own daily flow and a huge demand from our community. I’ve always moved and breathed together, they aren’t separate for me. I feel like I get a good vibe of what people want, and they were wanting a physical release that didn't feel like another high stress workout. It just reached a point where it made too much sense not to give movement its own space. It was the missing ingredient to making the Bred experience feel complete!

How do you guide people who are new to intentional movement - especially if they’ve only used the platform for breathwork so far?

We keep it really low pressure. If you’ve made it onto the mat and hit play, you’ve already done the hardest part, you’re halfway there. My goal is just to be with you every step of the way, guiding you through the movements without any force or expectation. For those who are used to just sitting or lying down for breathwork, this is just a natural extension of that. We take it slow and focus on how it feels rather than how it looks. There’s no performance here; it’s just about showing up for yourself and letting the movement do the work.

Looking ahead, how do you envision this new pillar shaping the future of Bred and the way people use your platform in their daily routines?

For a long time, the industry has taught us to pick a workout based on a schedule, like 'it’s Monday, so I have to do cardio.' With this new direction, I envision our users checking in with their bodies first. It’s about moving from a rigid routine to an intuitive one.
I want Bred to be the place people go to 'calibrate' their day. Maybe one morning you wake up feeling sluggish and inflamed, so you reach for the Liquid Gold Detox to get things moving. Or maybe you’ve had a high stress afternoon and you need the Stress Melt Method to literally shake off the day before dinner. By integrating things like Qi Gong and somatic work, we’re moving beyond just 'fitness' and into true lifestyle medicine. It’s about giving people the tools to regulate themselves in real time, so the platform becomes less of a chore on a to do list and more of a sanctuary they actually look forward to visiting every single day.
