5 minute yoga flow with Tee Close

 


This sweet flow has been designed by Tee Close (instructor at Ground Up Studios in Canberra).

Here are a few words from her to inspire your next practice and bring more free flowing movement to your days.

"Having an understanding of the elements and how we are elemental ourselves, I feel that resonates with us beautifully.

For this flow I really just want people to move their body and meet themselves where they are at, no expectations or judgement.

So, when I program for my yoga class, I keep the elements in mind.

We start with Earth, a bit of a grounding sequence, feeling connected to breath, and aware of the body and the surroundings and just arriving to your mat.

Then we move into a bit of fluidity, the Water element, so we start to move the body in a free, flowing way, getting that stagnant energy out.

Then we find a little bit of Fire, a bit of heat, we move the body a little stronger, pushing you into more challenging poses.

Finally, we find some Air time, so a bit of balancing, then we come back to earth for ether space and that’s where we meditate and lay in shavasana and make everything connect."
