Once I get to the North Shore, these are my top tips:

BEACH DAYS
Waimea Bay. This beach is a little piece of paradise. During the Summer time the water is crystal clear and calm. For those not afraid of heights like me , try plunging into the water off Waimea’s famous flat rock.
Sunset Beach. This long stretch of beach has beautiful calm waters during the Summer time and big surf during the Winter time. It is where the annual Pipeline surf content is held at the beginning of the year.
FOOD
Brekky/lunch
The Beet Box Café in Halewia. They serve the best vegan food around. Promise you’ll love it whether you’re vegan or not.
Hands down best Acai Bowls – The Sunrise Shack. You’ll find this super cute bright yellow food truck right opposite Sunset Beach
Dinner
Sharks Cove. Right opposite the beach you’ll find a bunch of amazing food trucks. From Mexican to Thai, Burgers and more. Everything is delicious. Grab a bottle of wine from Food Land right next door and eat right there at the picnic tables or walk across to the beach and have dinner whilst watching the sun set.
Turtle Bay Resort has some beautiful restaurants for dinner
GOLDEN HOUR
Hawaii is known for its truly magical sunsets. Make sure you head to Sunset Beach to watch the beautiful sun setting over the ocean. Golden hour in Hawaii is must every day.
EXERCISE
Yoga. I’m a yogi so wherever I travel I make sure to scope out the best studios. I love The North Shore Yoga Co-op. It’s actually one of my favourite places to practice yoga in the world. They have classes for all different levels and the yoga classes are really authentic.
Beach walks. I love to walk and early morning beach walks in Hawaii are a perfect way to start the day. Sunset Beach is a great one because it has a long stretch of sand.
