Sport Dominique Elissa’s style as she takes us around the Amalfi

You might recognise our next UPSIDER, model Dominique Elissa, who has been working with us for over 4 years now.

When we heard, she was headed to Europe for a holiday, we couldn’t resist asking her to take a few snaps for us, so we could live vicariously through her during a very wet Sydney winter. Boy were we in envy, from gelato in quaint plazas to boating around Positano, her holiday was one to truly envy.

Keep reading to find out more about her trip, including her tips on packing 40kg of luggage and what accessories really make a finished look, so you too can gain inspiration on how to #SPORTMYSTYLE.

Where are you currently roaming?

I’ve just returned from the Amafli Coast. I just love the people, the food and the Mediterranean Sea.

What do you love about the natural wonders of the Mediterranean?

Is it the coastline, the rugged bush… We hired a boat one day and discovered so many hidden coves and beaches that you could only get to by sea. This really is the best way to get around this magical coastline.

Where do you work out on trips? If you do!

Movement is part of my morning ritual no matter where I am. I made the most of the hills of the Amalfi and did stair sprints most mornings. I also walked so much during my travels, it’s the best way to discover hidden spots.

What’s your go-to work out while travelling?

I have a 10 minute ab workout I do pretty much every day! It’s just body weight so I can do it wherever I am.

I lived in my activewear! I just kept it super minimal and paired it back with my gold hoops and some rings.

Favourite studios / gyms /wellness spaces you’ve ever been to while traveling.

I am sauna and ice bath obsessed, so I always hunt them down whenever I am away. When I was in Barcelona I visited Aire De Barcelona – it was such a beautiful space to unwind and relax. This beautiful spa had steam rooms, ice baths, massages and more to leave you feeling completely refreshed.

What are your packing essentials for every trip?

Lots of suncream, activewear, bikinis and my matcha powder.

Spill…what does your baggage weigh on a typical trip?

EEEK I was carrying over 40kg of baggage!

Go-to accessories to dress any outfit up?

Gold hoops are always my go to! I am also loving beaded necklaces at the moment.

Slides or sneakers?

Heels or dressy flats?
